Four scope checks before a price comparison
01 / Material
State fiber composition, fabric weight in gsm, lining and sweatband. A cotton twill reference and a lightweight polyester shell are different requests; ask the supplier to identify the construction behind each quote.
02 / Fit
Specify head circumference in cm or inches, brim width and crown depth. Separate adult and youth size quantities. An adjustable strap changes fit and construction, so record it as a distinct variant rather than assuming one size suits every wearer.
03 / Decoration
Record logo placement, width, thread colors and artwork revision. Ask for an embroidery sew-out on the proposed fabric: a digital proof does not show puckering, backing feel or small-letter clarity on a curved crown.
04 / Pack
Quote the same number of pieces, pack ratio and carton configuration. For example, 20 cartons of 24 hats describe 480 pieces; this is an arithmetic illustration, not an available pack or minimum order.

An optional target budget can be per piece or for the whole order. Premium, mid-range, budget or undecided describes your preference, not a verified supplier grade.
